Book Publishing Services

From final manuscript to published book.

Cover design, interior formatting, ISBN registration, and distribution to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple Books, Kobo, and beyond.

WHAT WE DO

Full-Service Book Production and Distribution

Once your manuscript is editorially ready, the production phase begins. This is where your book takes its final physical and digital form: the cover gets designed, the interior gets formatted, an ISBN is registered, and the finished files are submitted to retail platforms.

We handle every part of this process. You review and approve at each stage. Your book goes live correctly the first time.c`

DESIGN

Cover Design

Your cover is the first sales decision a reader makes. It has to communicate genre, tone, and quality in under a second — because that is all the time it gets on a retail platform thumbnail or a bookstore shelf.

What We Build

Every cover we design is created from scratch for your specific book. We do not pull from template libraries or recycle layouts. We design based on your genre conventions, your target reader, and the specific emotional tone of your story or argument.

Our process includes:

  • Initial concept development based on brief and genre research
  • Front cover design with typography, imagery, and layout
  • Back cover design including blurb placement, barcode, and author bio area
  • Spine design scaled to your page count
  • eBook thumbnail version optimized for digital retail display
  • High-resolution export files for both print and digital submission

Why Original Design Matters

Template covers are easy to spot, and readers spot them. A cover that looks like dozens of others signals to a reader that the book inside may not be distinctive either. An original cover signals care, investment, and professionalism — before the reader has read a word.

FORMATTING

Interior Formatting

Interior formatting is what separates a professionally published book from a self-uploaded file. Typography, margins, chapter openers, running headers, page numbers, spacing — every detail affects how readable your book feels in a reader's hands.

Print Formatting

We format your manuscript to print-ready standards, following the specifications of your chosen print-on-demand or offset printer. This includes:

  • Font selection and sizing appropriate to genre and trim size
  • Chapter heading design and placement
  • Running headers and footers
  • Page numbering and front matter layout (title page, copyright page, dedication, table of contents)
  • Back matter formatting (acknowledgments, bibliography, index if applicable)
  • Export as press-ready PDF

eBook Formatting

eBook formatting is a different discipline from print. We build reflowable EPUB files that render correctly across Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo, and other major reading apps and devices. This includes:

  • Structured headings for proper navigation
  • Clickable table of contents
  • Clean metadata embedded in the file
  • Correct character encoding and image handling
  • Platform-specific exports where required (MOBI for KDP, EPUB for all others)

PUBLISHING

ISBN Registration and Platform Distribution

ISBN Assignmentc

Every commercially published book needs a registered ISBN. We assign a valid ISBN to your title and register it with Bowker, the US ISBN agency, so your book is catalogued in industry databases used by booksellers, libraries, and distributors.

Platform Distribution

We submit your finished files to the major retail platforms on your behalf. Each platform has its own file requirements, metadata specifications, pricing rules, and review timelines. We handle all of it.

Platforms we distribute to:

  • Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing — print and Kindle eBook
  • Barnes and Noble Press — print and Nook eBook
  • Apple Books — eBook distribution to the Apple ecosystem
  • Kobo Writing Life — eBook distribution globally
  • Ingram Spark — print and eBook wholesale distribution to bookstores and libraries worldwide

What Ingram Access Means for Your Book

Ingram is the largest book distributor in the world. A title listed through Ingram Spark is available for order to any bookstore, library, or retailer that uses Ingram's catalogue — which is most of them. This is the distribution infrastructure traditionally published books use, and it is available to independent authors through our distribution service.

Self-Publishing Support

If you want to retain full ownership and direct control of your book's accounts on each platform, our self-publishing support service guides you through the setup process. You own the accounts, collect royalties directly, and maintain full rights to your title. We provide the production expertise, the platform knowledge, and the files. You make the decisions.
